A photo journey from the 3-day trip to Paris in March 2019.
No trip to PARIS is ever complete without a visit to the Eiffel Tower!
We booked a guided tour, which helped us skip the line. And of course, we opted for the elevator rather than take the steps. The view from the top is exhilarating!
The view from the top of the Eiffel Tower. And we made it down in time to see the light show. It is Tres Magnifique (hope I got that right). I was way too fascinated watching the light show that I forgot to get my camera out.
The Louvre is incredible. Mona Lisa has a room to herself - though seldom any privacy. Enough said.
Notre Dame - a few days before it caught fire (on 15 April 2019). The detailing is well, detailed (pardon my attempt at humour). You could spend hours gazing at the intricacies.
Inside the Notre Dame. What a majestic mood!
Sacre Coeur - an elegant Roman Catholic Church. I was mesmerised!
We had a tiny incident here which was scary at the time. You can read all about it soon!
At Sacre Couer - not sure what this is. But it is very, very French.
(this is the only pic in this series that's not clicked by me)
What's a trip to Paris without shopping!! Galeries Lafayette, baby.
The famous dome at the Galeries Lafayette!
Ah! The River Seine cruise.
Sunset was a perfect time for this cruise. Oh, be still my heart.
Waxing eloquent at this view.
I had so much fun putting this piece together and reliving my short trip from March 2019 all over again. Hope you do too!
